About the app

What can I do with the StelloGirls app?

Create AMAZING videos using our StelloGirls app and use your own VOICE! You can share your movies with your friends and even collaborate together on a video! Watch our app video to get an impression of what you can do on the app! http://www.stellogirls.com/awesome-vids/

How do I earn stars in the game?

You earn stars by creating and sharing videos, levelling up, working together with your friends, winning trophies and by watching and liking videos! These stars you can spend on all the cool backgrounds, music and other accessories within the game!

Purchasing stars

You can also purchase stars from the StarShop! This is an in-app purchase. Make sure to ask your parent or guardian for permission if you’re under 13.

How do I win trophies in the game?

You can win trophies by creating videos, sharing, using certain backgrounds and characters and much more! Check out the trophies section on the app for more information!

 

Account management

I lost my username or password, now what?

If you lost your username, but still know the email account you registered with, drop us a line at support @ stellogirls.com

If you forgot your password you can reset it via the “Forgot my password” button on the main menu.

I get an error when I try to sign in, what should I do?

That’s so not cool, sorry to hear that! Please try one of the following:

  1. Try quitting the app completely and then restarting, sometimes this helps!
  2. If this doesn’t work, drop us a line with your nickname and (preferably) a screenshot of the error you get.

 

Safety and Privacy

Which details can I share on StelloGirls?

At StelloGirls we take privacy and safety very seriously. Please don’t share any personal details of yourself or your friends, this includes where you live, your real name and things like email and phone number. Don’t share this via the voiceovers or in writing. If you’re in doubt if you can share something, check with your parents or guardians first.

What do the sharing settings mean, when I share a video?

At StelloGirls we think it’s important that YOU get to decide with whom you share your videos. So we have 3 options available:

  • Private – this video can only be viewed by YOU.
  • Friends – this video can be viewed by your FRIENDS and YOU.
  • Public – this video can be viewed by ANYONE on the StelloGirls app

Someone is bullying me on the app, what should I do?

StelloGirls is a friendly and empowering community and bullying is NOT TOLERATED. Please remove this person from your friends list and flag any of the comments he/she is making. Of course, also drop us a line on support @ stellogirls.com with the information you have (username, name of the video). We will take appropriate measures to stop and to avoid bullying.

StelloGirls Pledge

We ask that our users to take the StelloGirls pledge:

  1. I will not give out personal information such as my name, address or telephone number.
  2. I will tell my parents right away if I come across any information that makes me feel uncomfortable.
  3. I will never agree to get together with someone I “meet” online without first checking with my parents.
  4. I will only be kind to other users, bullies are not allowed!
