Hi girlssss! Adi here with a quick & cute DIY! Today we’re making glitter candles for New Years Eve! I LURV candles, they make everything just so… dreamy! For New Years I decided to spice up my candle game a bit, with some GLITTER! And they turned out so CUTE. I think I’m gonna make some more and give them to literally every single person I know!!
What you’ll need:
- 4 candles, I used tea lights but you can also use bigger ones!
- Mod Podge (or similar) glue
- Stickers or Sequins with the numbers for next year written on them, you’ll need the: 2,0,1,7
- Matches (if you want to light them :p)
Put the glue around the sides of the candles (don’t put it on top of the candle!), then pour over the glitter while rotating the candle so the glitter spreads over all sides.
Tip: Do this part over a tray if you want to re-use the glitter that falls off! If you don’t want to re-use the glitter just do it outside or over a trashcan! Things get REAL glittery REAL fast with this DIY…but like whats new?!
Let the candles dry. If you have sequins, write the numbers on them with a marker. Glue the sequins or put the stickers on the candles and TADAAAA! So, SO cute!
Super easy right?! I cannot WAIT for NYE this year girlies. I’ve got my sights set on a beautiful 2017 full of MORE books, MORE tea, and MORE LURV!!
XOXO – Adi
