Hey girls, OK it’s time to talk about the KidsRock fashion show. I don’t care what any of the other StelloGirls say, THIS was definitely the show to be at. It was SO dope. The models were kids that ranged in age – from little toddlers to tweens and early teens.

OK I need to tell you girls everything! This was more than just a fashion show, it was a full blown production. There was a hip hop dance team AND a live artist performer who sang on the runway!

I loved that the show allowed the kids to be kids. They weren’t perfect, some didn’t know exactly what to do, but that’s what was so cool about it, it was authentic. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard or smiled so wide. It was pure magic.

But the kids weren’t just cute, they were a diverse group, ranging in ethnicities, hair colors, styles and body shapes. I never got bored because each kid had such a different look and vibe. I love the brands’ inclusivity.

As a group, the models were a talented crew. Some were stellar comedians – they totally worked the crowd! They winked, posed and pointed –they really put on a show. Others were dancers and gymnasts that did back flips down the runway, breakdanced and even did headspins! OH and I forgot to mention – the kids continuously did a wip and naenae at the end of the runway! YAS.
Attached are some of my FAV looks. There were lots of block color leggings with matching tops, neon colors on black, and some cute denim looks. Overall the clothing collections had a young and fresh hip hop vibe.

TREND ALERT: Wearing a bomber with a grunge style button down tied around the waist. It’s cool and casual, and I am so down. One of the girls wore a varsity style bomber with a white T underneath and black pleather sports leggings. Soooo good.

Beyond the looks what I loved so much about this show was seeing so many young girls confidently stomping down the runway, without fear, without a thought-out plan, just enjoying themselves and really seizing the moment.

I kept wondering if I could ever muster up the courage to do that!! Would you ??
